RICHARD SCOTT, 53, passed away March 26, 2014 from complications of pneumonia. He was born December 30, 1960 in Baltimore, MD to Bernice (Boo) and David Cohen. He is survived by his father, Dave of Scottsdale, AZ, sisters Jamie Lynn Cohen of Pikesville, MD, Valerie Cohen of Placentia, CA and nephew Matthew McGeehan of Valencia, CA. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice on May 4th 2010. Richard graduated from Chaparral HS In Scottsdale in 1978. He then attended trade school and majored in mechanics. After graduating from trade school, he became the owner of Rich’s Mobil in Scottsdale, AZ. which he operated for many years. His main hobby was his love for motorcycles. He was an expert rider. He also built a couple of classic cars, as he was a top mechanic. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will have a private service. Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to the Hospice of the Valley in his name.
